Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday —  Centre Hastings Fire Department wants to remind all to set your clocks ahead one hour before bed on Saturday night!

As you spring forward, take a few extra minutes to protect your home and family:

🔥 Test Your Smoke & CO Alarms
Push the test button and make sure alarms are working properly on every level of your home.

🔋 Change the Batteries
If your alarms use replaceable batteries, install fresh ones. A working alarm can cut the risk of fire death in half.

🧯 Check Fire Extinguishers
Ensure they are easily accessible and fully charged.

🏠 Review Your Home Escape Plan
Make sure everyone knows two ways out of each room and your family meeting place outside.
