The Municipality of Centre Hastings has heard your concerns and we agree that safer crossings are needed in our downtown.,
We’ve been working with the Ministry of Transportation, police, community partners, and residents for more than a decade to improve pedestrian safety. This includes engineering studies, design work, public engagement, and ongoing advocacy for pedestrian crossovers on Durham Street South.
