Fall Cleanup Season is Coming: Leaf Collection Begins Next Month
Fall is just around the corner, and the Municipality's Leaf & Yard Waste Collection Program begins next month. Residents are reminded that collection takes place on your regular waste pickup day only during the designated collection weeks.
Collection Weeks:
- Week of October 26 to 30, 2026
- Week of November 2 to 6, 2026
Please ensure all leaf and yard waste is placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day and follows all program requirements.
Acceptable Materials
- Leaves
- Grass clippings
- Twigs and small branches
- Garden and plant material (no soil)
Unacceptable Materials
- Sod or soil
- Stumps and root balls
- Rocks and stones
- Plastic of any kind
Collection Requirements
- Place leaf and yard waste at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your regular collection day.
- Brush must be tied in bundles no longer than 3 feet (0.9 m) in length.
- Branches must be no larger than 2 inches in diameter.
- Paper yard waste bags only will be accepted.
- Each bag must not exceed 40 lbs (18 kg).
- Roll down the tops of bags to help keep out rain and snow.
