Community Survey Now Open: Backyard Chickens in Rural Residential Zones – Centre Hastings

The Municipality of Centre Hastings is exploring whether to allow backyard chickens in the Rural Residential (RR) zone. Currently, chickens are only permitted on Rural (RU) properties of 15 acres or more.

We want to hear from you! This survey will help Council understand the level of community support for expanding backyard chicken allowances in RR areas.
